Reese Dixon
REESE DIXON, a New Jersey native, began her ballet training at the age of eight. As a student of The School of First State Ballet Theatre, Reese performed in the productions of The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Giselle, Don Quixote, The Sleeping Beauty, and Coppélia. As a trainee last season, she was also able to perform in Viktor Plotnikov’s Romeo and Juliet and Zachary Kapeluck’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She has danced in several ensemble pieces choreographed by Viktor Plotnikov, most notably Punch It, which placed in the Top 12 Contemporary Ensembles in the 2024 YAGP Finals. Reese was a Top 10 finisher and scholarship recipient at the National Ballet Competition, and has earned scholarship opportunities from Regional Dance America, Delaware Dance Festival, and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. She is excited to begin her second season with First State Ballet Theater.
